Sad news features service to the country for Bradley

The United States World Cup training camp returned bleak to coach Bob Bradley on Wednesday, when he learned that a friend of the family had been killed a day before by a road bomb while serving in the army in Afghanistan.

Noted that the friend as a Colonel of the army of United States John McHugh, 46, a former goalkeeper at West Point, who grew up in Caldwell, N.J., from where the Bradley family lived in Essex Fells.Bob Bradley said that his brother Jeff, now a senior writer at ESPN the magazine had played with McHugh.Bob American Legion baseball said that he and his brother Scott, now head coach at Princeton, baseball had played sports against McHugh brothers.
